01 - Michel Zouain was a very strong and brave man. He was also a military and Order Assistant of his cousin Georges Beik Zouain.

02 – Some time ago, when he was young attending a boarding school, one of his friends who worked in the school’s kitchen was quit because he didn't cook well enough. A better cooker was chosen for the kitchen’s work.
Michel didn't like it at all and decided to do something about it. In the following day he hid in the kitchen’s pantry with the two hands full of salt, waiting for the right moment. As soon as the cooker left the kitchen for some minutes, Michel throw the two hands full of salt in the great pot of food. At lunchtime everybody complained about the taste of the food and the director decided to quit the new cooker and readmit Michel's friend.

03 - Michel Zouain, left Lebanon to Brazil, in April of 1923, four years after Stans and Acle.
At that time he had three children, born in Lebanon (Luiz, Maria and ءdma). His wife was Mلlaque.

04 - Their third son , José Zouain (Zuza), was born during the ship trip. In Brazil they had two more children, Rosa and Zouain.
“Zouainzinho,” his nickname, died at the age of seven, falling down from a tree. ءdma is the only one still alive. She is 80 years old.

05 - His sister Zambek never accepted his departure to Brazil. She loved deeply all her brothers, but Michel and his son Luiz were very special to her.
Both died in the year of 1958, but the husband and her children never said for Zambek, that the brother and the nephew that she more liked had died.
In 1966, when Stansinho (Stan’s son) was in Lebanon, Zambek asked him...

... when, he returned to Brazil, he caught a cotton piece and he passed in Michel's forehead when he was sweated, and he sent this wet cotton of Michel's perspiration, by mail, so that when she received, she could feel the smell of your longing brother's perspiration.

06 – Like his brothers Zouain, Acle and Stans, Michel also worked in the trade. He lived in Itapina, district of Colatina. He moved to Colatina after Zouainzinho’s death.

07 - Michel liked Lebanon very much. He always spoke about returning to Lebanon. A curious fact is, even living more than 30 years in Brazil, he did not learn to speak a word in Portuguese.
His son Luiz promised that he would take his father back to Lebanon, but he got sick and died at the age of 48.
Michel loved so much his son that he could not resist to his death, and some months later he also died.

08 – Great part of his descendents inhabits the city of Colatina and surroundings.

02 - Certa vez quando ainda era jovem e estudava num internato, um dos seus amigos que trabalhava na cozinha do colégio, foi despedido porque nمo cozinhava bem, e no seu lugar colocaram outro cozinheiro melhor.
Michel nمo gostou do que fizeram ao seu amigo cozinheiro, e se escondeu na despensa da cozinha no dia seguinte com as duas mمos cheias de sal, esperando uma distraçمo do novo cozinheiro.
Quando o novo cozinheiro deu uma saيda da cozinha por alguns minutos, Michel despejou as duas mمos cheias de sal dentro da grande panela de comida. Na hora do almoço todos reclamaram da comida muito salgada e o diretor despediu o novo cozinheiro e readmitiu o amigo do Michel.

03 - Michel Zouain, partiu do Lيbano para o Brasil, em abril de 1923, quatro anos apَs Stans e Acle.
Naquela época tinha três filhos, ainda crianças, nascidos no Lيbano ( Luiz, Maria e ءdma ). Sua esposa se chamava Mلlaque.

04 - Durante a viagem de navio, nasceu o 3؛ filho de Michel e Mلlaque, José Zouain ( Zuza ).
Jل morando no Brasil, nasceram mais 2 filhos:
Rosa e Zouain.
Zouainzinho, como era chamado Zouain, faleceu ainda criança, aos 7 anos de idade, ao cair de uma لrvore. Todos com exceçمo de ءdma ( hoje com 80 anos ) jل faleceram.

05 - Sua irmم Zambek, nunca se conformou com a partida de Michel para o Brasil, pois, apesar de gostar muito de todos os seus irmمos, Michel era o seu irmمo preferido juntamente com seu filho Luiz.
Ambos faleceram no ano de 1958, mas o marido e os filhos nunca disseram para Zambek, que o irmمo e o sobrinho que ela mais gostava tinham falecido. Em 1966, quando Stansinho ( filho de Stans ) esteve no Lيbano, Zambek pediu a ele...

... que quando, voltasse ao Brasil, pegasse um pedaço de algodمo e passasse na testa de Michel quando este estivesse suado, e enviasse este algodمo molhado do suor de Michel, pelo correio, para que quando ela recebesse, pudesse sentir o cheiro do suor do seu saudoso irmمo.

06 – Como seus irmمos: Zouain, Acle e Stans, Michel também trabalhou no comércio. Morou em Itapina, distrito de Colatina e depois da morte do filho Zouainzinho foi morar em Colatina.

07 - Michel gostava tanto do seu Lيbano, que durante toda a sua vida no Brasil, sَ falava em voltar. Um fato curioso foi que ele, durante mais de 30 anos no Brasil, nمo aprendeu a falar o português.
Seu filho Luiz prometeu que levaria o pai ao Lيbano, mas adoeceu e morreu alguns meses depois, ainda com 48 anos de idade.
Michel amava tanto o filho, que nمo resistiu a sua morte, e alguns meses depois, também faleceu de paixمo.
